The customer contacted us as their felt garage roof was leaking and covered in moss. The garage felt had been on for over 5 years which had had now become cracked and damaged due to the rapid changes in weather. The customer wanted a roof that was watertight and that the moss would not grow on so easily.
How we resolved it:
A Firestone EPDM Fully bonded Overdecking system was installed. First all of the moss and gravel were removed. The damaged damaged and rotten felt was then removed and the roof was completed decked with 11mm OSB board. Finally, the Firestone EPDM Rubber was fitted, using all of the official Firestone products. Plastisol coated steel edging Trims were fitted around the garage to give it a flawless finish. The customer’s roof is now watertight, and the moss removed.
